Extension Office Hours We are now open Tuesday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (and closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch on all days). For your planning purposes, these hours are the same for all offices within the Henry County Office Building and the Courthouse.
Newsletter The newsletter will now be issued quarterly: Fall (SEPT-OCT-NOV), Winter (DEC-JAN-FEB), Spring (MAR-APR-MAY), and Summer (JUN-JUL-AUG). Also, in an effort to go green (and save some green!), the newsletter will now only be mailed to those that we do not have an e-mail address for. An e-mail will be sent to those that we have an e-mail address for with a link to the newsletter on our website.

Scholarship Information There are several scholarships available for 4-H members. If you are interested, please visit our website for a listing. The 4-H Foundation Scholarships and 4-H Achievement Scholarships are due January 15. If you are interested in applying for either one of these scholarships, there will be a workshop on Tuesday, December 7 in the upstairs conference room at 4:00pm. The 4-H Achievement Scholarships can be filled out as early as 10th grade and continue until after your final year in 4-H. If you plan to attend the workshop, please call the Extension Office to register by Wednesday, December 1.
Bad Weather I know that it is hard to image bad weather when the temperatures have been so hot, but it will be here before we know it. Just a reminder about our cancellation policy for 4-H events. As a rule of thumb, if two of the five school corporations are cancelled, the 4-H events will also be cancelled.
